Honest Limits — Read Before Ops Decisions
This tool aggregates public sources for situational picture, not for authoritative operational decisions. Use it to prompt review; consult the primary source before making ops calls.

NOAA SWPC is authoritative for space weather. Any decision affecting HF radio operations, GPS-dependent navigation, or satellite ops should reference SWPC directly.
NHC (nhc.noaa.gov) is authoritative for Atlantic + Eastern Pacific tropical cyclones. JTWC (metoc.navy.mil/jtwc) is authoritative for Western Pacific / Indian Ocean / South Pacific tropical cyclones. Both are routed through the Ghost Worker (⚙ top-right) — they don't set CORS headers and cannot be fetched directly from the browser.
AviationWeather.gov is authoritative for CONUS + international SIGMETs. Also routed through the Ghost Worker for the same CORS reason. This tool bins SIGMETs by hazard type; the raw text on aviationweather.gov is what an operator or dispatcher should ultimately reference.
USGS is authoritative for seismic activity. A tsunami precursor flag here (M6+ near a coast) is a prompt to check tsunami.gov, PTWC, or the local warning center — not itself a warning.

Coverage gaps: JTWC RSS carries advisory titles + links but does not include structured intensity data — JTWC storms surface here as "active tropical cyclone in region" with a link to the full JTWC advisory. Consult the advisory for winds, position, and forecast. Volcanic ash advisories from the 9 VAAC centers are not currently ingested. Ice conditions for polar shipping routes are not currently ingested.

The Ops Impact Summary is a derived signal, not a warning. Green/Yellow/Orange/Red reflects the aggregated state of the sources shown, computed from stated thresholds. It is a prompt to look, not a verdict on whether operations should proceed.
